Movie Review: Speak Of The Devil (1989)
Despite its histrionic and fantasy elements, this movie seems like an accurate portrayal of how important people in society are recruited into devil-worshipping cults.

Premise
Afer moving from place to place several times, a fraud evangelist couple decide to permanently settle down in the demonic central known as Los Angeles. A real estate broker tricks them into buying a forsaken house property but her stupid son tells them about its sordid and tragic past. Their Jewish neighbour also tries to warn them about buying the house or staying in it. While they are renovating the house, a mysterious woman visits them and hands them a suitcase full of cash and a book on devil worship. Meanwhile, a strange creature in the house kills a worker and hides his body in one of the secret dungeons of the house.
The evangelist is having doubts but his wife plunges head first in to witchcraft. Soon, on the advice of the mysterious woman, she starts a literal-underground devil-worshipping club. They initially perform animal sacrifices and then in subsequent meetings proceed to human sacrifices. The club attendees gain mysterious powers after drinking the blood of sacrificed victims. A woman who is part of a gang of thugs had joined them and she gets bigger boobs!
Parallels
On seeing the movie, I could not but recall the testimonies of Vicky Polin on Oprah Show and the Damascus trial of alleged Jewish blood sacrificers.
